Michigan has one of the least-competitive commercial health insurance markets in the nation, dominated by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
The state ranked third among the least-competitive markets for commercial health insurance and has the second-highest concentrated PPO market, according to a report released this week by the American Medical Association (AMA).
