Richard D. Letts Memorial Scholarship Available for Lansing Area Students

The Richard D. Letts Memorial Scholarship Golf Committee is offering a scholarship for the financially challenged high school graduate pursuing a college degree or other post high school certification in any discipline.

Applicants must complete an application available through a school counselor; be accepted in an accredited college, university or trade school; and be a resident of the Ingham or Eaton county school districts with a minimum grade-point average of 2.0.

A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor and a personal statement outlining career goals and why the applicant should be considered for a scholarship are required.

Applications may be sent to the Letts Memorial Scholarship Committee at P.O. Box 16299, Lansing MI 48901-6299. The deadline is Feb. 28.
