The MSU Libraries is pleased to announce a new nursing resource: Nursing Education in Video.
Nursing Education in Video has streaming videos for many nursing subjects (Anatomy/Physiology, Basic Clinical Skills, Cardiology, Communications, Gerontology, Infection Control, Medical Administration, Obstetrical Nursing, Pediatrics, and more). Videos can be linked to or embedded in course management systems (like ANGEL or D2L), word documents, PowerPoint files, etc. – just click on the “Link/Embed” icon on a video’s page. All have synchronized, searchable transcripts that run alongside each video. Users can create shortened clips of videos if they’re only interested in certain parts of videos, although creating a free account is necessary to do so. Permissions for in-class, on-campus, and remote-access viewing are all included in the terms of the subscription, as are no-fee public performance rights.
