In September the MSU Map Library acquired Africa : corrected from observations of Mess. of ye Royal Societies at London and Paris published by Charles Price and John Senex in London in 1711.

Price and Senex were both prominent engravers and publishers of maps atlases and globes. This map extends Herman Moll's use of textual information, a clear break from the earlier practice of filling in blank spots with fanciful monsters and legends.

Census Bureau Announces a New Product for Tracking Business Activity

The U.S. Census Bureau announces the release of the Business Dynamics Statistics (BDS), a data series that allows users to track annual changes in employment for growing and shrinking businesses at the establishment level.

The BDS monitors this activity, tracking annual job creation and destruction at the establishment level using elements not found in similar databases, such as firm age and size. Double-Sided Printing Now Available

Double-sided printing is now the default setting for the black and white e-token printers in the Business Library. The color e-token printer will still default to single-sided printing.

To print single-sided, in most cases, you can go to the "File" menu, select "Print", then in the pull down menu that allows you to select a printing option select "Single Sided E-Token". If you are printing from Adobe or another PDF reader click on the print button in the reader and then select "Single Sided E-Token."

To ensure seamless access to MSU resource subscriptions through Google Scholar, please do the following

Go to Google Scholar - http://scholar.google.com/.
Click on "Scholar Preferences" to the right of the search box.
In the Library Links field search for Michigan State University.
Select Michigan State University - MSU Access.
Do your search in Google Scholar.

Expenditures can be viewed by category, parent company, subsidiary, and brand.
