New digital resources on Cesar E. Chavez

Work by Leroy Chatfield and farmworkers, The Farmworker Movement Documentation Project has found a home at the University of California San Diego Library. The site offers access to primary source materials and accounts by UFW volunteers who "built the movement." Oral history interviews, documents, realia (like the political buttons collection we have in Special Collections), photographs and other material are made available.

The British Pathé Archive Newsreel archive "has uploaded its entire collection of 85,000 historic films, in high resolution, to its YouTube channel. This unprecedented release of vintage news reports and cinemagazines is part of a drive to make the archive more accessible to viewers all over the world."
