Meet our newest health sciences librarian, Chana Kraus-Friedberg! She just started working for MSU Libraries in July 2017.  

Prior to joining our team, Kraus-Friedberg earned her PhD in Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She worked in the UNC Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library, was a Reference and Instruction Intern at the Duke University Perkins Library, and has also worked as an Instructional Designer, Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow, and Critical Writing Fellow.

State-of-the-Art Digital Scholarship Lab Coming to MSU

The Michigan State University Libraries and the College of Arts & Letters are partnering to build a state-of-the-art Digital Scholarship Lab. The 8,000-square-foot space in the Main Library will feature a 360-degree immersive visualization room that will accommodate up to 20 students along with a Virtual Reality room for experimentation with VR headsets.
