Pearl Harbor Remembered

On December 7, 1941, the “Day of Infamy” according President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, propelling the United States fully into World War II. For an entire generation of Americans, the world changed forever.

Today, later generations may wonder how it felt to experience firsthand such a pivotal moment of history. Check out Michigan History Magazine ‘s November/December 1991 issue contains reminisces on that fateful day.
