One of six Michigan pregnancies ended in abortion in 2015, according to the latest data from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The state numbers show a total of 164,439 pregnancies in 2015, and 113,204 -- almost 69 percent -- resulted in a live birth. Of the remaining pregnancies, 16 percent ended in abortion and an estimated 15 percent ended with a miscarriage.
